October 2006
  • 1799 - David Higginbotham puta his land at the head of Lake Temiscouata for sale in the Quebec Gazette
  • 1814 - Letter and report from Joseph Bouchette, Esquire, Surveyor General for Upper and Lower Canada, to Sir Georges Prevost, Governor in Chief of British North America and Commander in Chief of all Forces, at Quebec City and dated June 30, 1814.
  • 1811 - Many changes have been made to years between 1800-1811 - however, the year 1811 is particular full of new information and details - good reading! (mostly French at this point)
  • Romain Long - Innkeeper and mailman - pictures and information from the 1851 Census in Clair
  • New document found with Philip Long's signature - Gilles Long has uncovered a petition signed by Philip Long in 1798-1799.  The petition is about changes to be made to the Royal Road just outside Rivière du Loup.
  • New document on the possibilities of Philip Long having had a brother - Sergent John Long, du King’s American Dragoons (KAD), frère de Philip?  The text was authored by Donald Long but is only available in French.
