Philip Long, Soldier-Courier, dies on December 25, 1832.

Philip Long dies on December 25, 1832 at the age of around 75 years old.  He is interred in the Ste-Luce cemetery a few days later.  This parish is now in Maine, USA and it is somewhat ironic given his loyalty to and his role in protecting the border interests of the British Crown to be buried on the American side of the border.
